My girl, feels that ARR gives ordinary Music! And he is a mediocre musician! One person I was forced to accept that He wasn’t the best L Sorry Rahmniacs I let you people down!! With Ghajini, I can assure her that he is the best!
ARR is the Mozart of Chennai! You liked IR songs accepted that doesn’t mean U can tok anything about ARR! The fact is ARR is the “in” thing & IR “WAS”!! 2ndly I like ARR doesn’t mean I hate IR!! Music has been the same for ages!! its just the way MD’s interpret it & then divulge it to form different tunes depending upon the Story!! IR might have been fortunate to work upon his music because, then! If there was one movie where the Hero donned the role of a police officer then the trend followed for some 10 movies!!! & IR composed all 10 so he could improvise on his music!! ARR isn’t that fortunate he is in a age where CHANGE is CONSTANT!! so that speaks for itself!!! PPL think about it, as a normal music lover rather than a IR or ARR fan!!! Comparisons are inevitable!! For both are Gr8 in there own way!
Well Mr. Deepak since few of the members feel this topic shouldn’t be discussed here!! I would rather ask u to scrap me!!! We will sort this issue out!!! Well, everyone acknowledges good music!!! Maybe few songs will be forgotten down the line… but the songs you said will remain forever!!! For people like u!!! I listen to only ARR and very few songs composed by good musicians!!! My vision is narrowed only to ARR [In Hindi & English] accepted!!! That doesn’t rule me out from claiming that ARR’s composition is better than at least the south Indian composers!!! That’s coz when it comes to southern music!! I am also a pro man!!! And the CD’s & cassettes part wasn’t supposed be taken to heart!!! Apologies if it did that!!! And I buy music I like!!! It’s the software’s which I download…U like & admire something then buy original is my policy!!! if its a problem with U!!! Can’t help it !!!And the kiddo part!!! you behaved like one!!! so that thing sticks with u kiddo U seem to have done hell lot of research eh??? gone thru my profile & communities!!! Well deepak … ARR mite not have given extraordinary music[according to U and only ""U""] but then he has given something which is purely, his own composition unlike few[whom we al know]!!! Wat makess ARR stand out form the rest of the herd is his sheer ability to give ordinary work which turns out to be something really more than ordinary[extraordinary in my case]or way less than [as in your case] … Its all upto u to decide what kind of music you want to lissen to!!! If u want to lissen to the hit songs which our own HJ composes like the one which is again a compiled version of his hit songs put to gether in a small-mini-mixed-package-of-best-of-Hj for every song of his!!! Its boring man!!If you want those kind of songs then please don’t buy Ghajini and all coz it will again be full of soul., music,some really good orchestration and many more which u wont find in many good music directors!!! Please man dont buy those CD’s ,I doubt if u’ll actually buy his CD’s!!!To put it safely Don’t download these songs man!!! Why waste time??? lissen to some of the south korean songs..why stress yourself!!!lissen to some really “hit” compositions of pritam !!!U mite love it!!! all u need is Hit songs but not good songs …..

After 8 years I watched a movie with my mom !!! A tamil movie, Vaaranam Aayiram!!! It was a decent, good movie!! This movie reminded me of the dialogue from Vellithirai
“A movie is the director’s creation! It should make the audience cry when the director wants to and laugh when he wants to!!” He should be able to take the audience through the emotional journey which he went through when he first wrote the subject!!This movie almost did everything the way he wanted to I guess!!! Menon pulled out brilliant performances from Suriya[nothing new],Simran[again she is brilliant rei bai 
] Sameera Reddy!!![Kudos to Menon]Not everyday will you like sameera reddy for her acting skills !!! This movie was one such thing!! It made me cry when suriya cried! Fell in love when he fell in love!! Sing when he sang!!! The movie was really good!! The songs , don’t know if it’s a rip off of many songs but sounded really good!!! Mundhinam song was played in the back ground! And every time it was played in the back ground it sounded really good!!! The part where Suriya loses someone close to his heart, was taken brilliantly!! Though reminded me of my girl L something which I’ll learn from this movie J Its got every thing loads of sentiment!! Witty dialogues, moderate BGM !! Really good music! Go watch it!! it will make you laugh, cry, romance, everything!!!
