Are you the pele of cricket? Or are you trying hard to be the rakhi sawant of cricket? It has to be either of the two. Let me put it in bulletein points to help you understand my point of view better.

1. England were the better team in the first test and it ends there.
2. What makes you think they are the super power for the future? How is the bench strength of your team?
3. Your strike bowler Jimmy Anderson, with all due respect to him, hasn’t performed well in the sub continent. Something which the likes of steyn and morkel did when they toured India.
4. England were lucky to some extent in the first test. Injured Zaheer and a shuffled batting order in a non turner were some of the reasons.
5. Except for the Indian middle order which might leave guard in the next 3 years I don’t see much change for the next 10 years.
6. Anderson is 28, Tremlett is 29, Trott 30, Strauss and swann at 32. And world famous Kp at 31. They aren’t going to last long either.
7. On the other hand India have the likes of pujara, yuvraj who are tried and tested against the very best and are in the reckoning of a test place just in case the fab trio feel their time is up.
8. The bowling is quite young.
9. England super power after just one win doesn’t seem right.
10. One swallow doesn’t make a summer.
